Ramu
Ramu is glossy by guileful oldest
artistry based wood made Buddhist Bihar &

There are khyangs, monasteries and pagodas containing images of Buddha in gold,

feet high pedestal. It is the largest Buddha statues that are found in whole of
Bangladesh .
The wood carving of this khyang is very delicate and refined. Ramkot is another
sight seeing attraction since it is said that the stone grinder used by Sita
while she was in Lanka is preserved here and Rama also met Sita here. Ramu has
a charm of its own. Weavers ply their trade in open workshops and craftsmen
make handmade cigars in their pagoda like houses.
Himchari
Himchari is another most attractive
places for the visitors in cox’sbazar. It is situated 18 km south of Cox’s
Bazar, along the beach. Himchari is famous place for picnic and film
shooting.It is also famous for its waterfalls and The road to Himchari runs by
the open sea on one side and hills on the other which makes the journey to
Himchari very attractive.

Laboni beach is one of the most
beautiful beach in cox’sbazar. It is the chief beach of Cox ’s
Bazar as is at the central location and close to town. Bangladesh has
many sea beach. Laboni
Beach is one of them. It
is a beach where you see the natural beauty. Close to the beach, there are
hundreds of small shops selling souvenirs and beach accessories to the
tourists. The beach is always crowded by tourists. Visitors can sunbathe, surf,
jog, cycle, and swim. It is best for swimming and relaxation.

Moheshkhali is a wonderful island in
the Bay of Bengal in the north-western side of
Cox’s Bazar. It is another attraction for the tourists who go to Cox’s
Bazaar.Moheshkhali island is Surrounded with forested hills and some mangrove
trees alongside the coastal beach. It’s total area is 262 squre kilometers.
Through the center of the island and along the eastern coastline rises, a range
of low hills, but the coast to the north and west is a low-lying treat,
environed by mangrove jungle. There are a Buddhist temple and a shrine of
Adinath on the hill. You will observe here hilly areas,mangrove forests, salt
field etcetera. You can go easily to Moheshkhali from Cox’s Bazar. You need to
take a Rickshaw from cox’s Bazar go to Ghat no 6, From 6 no. Ghat you can go to
this Island by local motorboat or by
speedboat.
It takes 1 hour by trawler and 1/2 hour by speedboat. Moheshkhali island is well-nown forBuddhist Temple and the ancient Adinath Temple .
You can enjoy a full day here if you Settle up to visit Sonadia and some other Islands . In the morning you can your journey for
Moheskhali, pass time to visit the places, take lunch there and on return you
can visit Sonadia and other nearby Islands .

from Burma

in this market. Mainly goods are from Myanmar (Burmese)
as well as from China and Thailand . You
can try some local beauty products (sandalwood based), hand woven textile and
bed sheets among many other things.
